Music Directors

Ernie Miranda , Director

Mr. Miranda graduated from Savanna High School in Orange County. He continued on with his education and received his Bachelors Degree and Masters in Music Degree from California State University, Fullerton. In addition to directing the award winning Upland Highland Regiment and Color Guard, Mr. Miranda also conducts the Concert and Symphonic bands, in addition to  the Upland High School Wind Ensemble.

Mark Capalbo, Assistant Director

Mr. Capalbo is a graduate of the Upland High School class of 1979. He continued on with his education and earned his Bachelors Degree from California State University, Northridge. In addition to being Assistant Director for the award winning Upland Highland Regiment and  Color Guard, Mr. Capalbo is the Director of the Jazz program at Upland High School. Mr. Capalbo still performs with local jazz groups.
