Festivities will begin promptly at 7:00p.m.. We will be serving refreshments in the foyer. Communications / PR Coordinator: This position on the UHRB Board of Directors is currently available. If anyone is interested and would like more information regarding the duties and responsibilities, please log onto our website at www.uhrb.org and click on the "Contact" tab on the right hand side and email our President Mrs. Kari Nielsen.
Reflections Yearbook Committee: Every year the UHRB Boosters puts together a yearbook of the students in our program beginning with Band Camp and going all the way through second semester programs. The cost of the yearbook is "free of charge" to the students. In order for us to give this yearbook away at no cost it is very imperative that we obtain donations by collecting advertising ads. All advertising ads raised will pay for the cost of this project. A price sheet is available on our website that you may print out and forward to your employers or businesses that you may frequent. We also have personal ad which family members can place. Please note, the last day to place an ad is February 25, 2010. If you have any questions, please contact our Chairperson Mrs. Charlotte Portesi at gandalf71163@yahoo.com.
This committee is also accepting pictures that you may have taken at previous and current events. Please submit your pictures asap on a CD or flash drive.
Volunteer Opportunities: Our annual Western States Jazz Festival is coming up on March 5th and 6th. We will need the assistance of all parents and students to help in the areas of concessions, booth sales, parking and much more. This festival generates a substantial amount of funds which benefits our Instrumental Music Program. If you are interested and can possibly give us a few hours of your time, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Mrs. Gibson at Amymcree@aol.com.
We will also be selling Corporate Sponsorships and Individual Sponsorships
Band Mom's Looking for Volunteers: The Band Mom's would like to "Thank" everyone that helped out during Regiment Season. Now it is time again for us to start looking ahead with our Journey to the Rose Parade. We are seeking volunteers that can assist us with washing and sewing (taking out hems) band uniforms so we can prepare for our upcoming season. If you are interested, please contact Kate Connor at (909) 949-0931 or Lupe Rodriguez at (909) 981-4462.
SCRIP at Lamppost Pizza:
You may purchase your SCRIP gift cards (i.e. Vons, Stater Bros, Home Depot) every Tuesday evening at Lamppost Pizza from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Avon is also available.
